Educational Consulting

Ashirus for Your Students

Strategic consulting for schools, yeshivos, and anyone who is teaching Torah.

My Mission

Strategic guidance for educational excellence

I firmly believe that excelling in these three aspects of chinuch and shlichus would take Lubavitch to the next level.

Curriculum

There's an art and a science to designing curriculum that gets your talmidim where you want them to go.

Student progress

Without organized student progress tracking, some goals - or worse, some talmidim - will inevitably fall through the cracks.

Organizational structure

The structure of the organization and the relationships between staff members have a very real impact on what talmidim end up receiving in the classroom.

I have spent nearly a decade working inside one of the most respected elementary school yeshivos in the Lubavitch world — Tomchei Temimim Ocean Parkway — and I have seen this up close.
While we're still continuing to grow and improve, we've figured out a lot of things that could help many schools and organizations.

My experience in chinuch

1.
Natural Curiosity

Whether in high school, college, or yeshiva, I always naturally wondered why school was set up the way it was. Why were we learning what we were learning, and how were those decisions made?

2.
Learning in Chovevei Torah

When I switched from Baal Teshuva Yeshiva to a mainstream yeshiva and saw how many bochurim were having a hard time, I understood that there must have been challenges that started much earlier than Zal.

3.
Ten Years of Applying Chassidus

From when I became frum, I felt deeply that Chassidus must be deeply relevant. For a long time, I exerted myself to understand how to apply it properly in contemporary life.

4.
Initial Curriculum Development Work

I was hired to assist with curriculum development at Tomchei Temimim Ocean Parkway. I collaborated with renowned mechanchim like Rabbi Yossi Rosenblum, Rabbi Shmuel Wagner, and others, learning plenty on the job.

5.
Director of Student Progress

The whole purpose of curriculum, at the end of the day, is student progress. Once we got our curriculum to a pretty good place, we developed advanced systems for student progress tracking and intervention.

6.
Coaching Experience

Years of one-on-one coaching with clients who went through the yeshiva system have given me additional insight into what types of experiences bochurim are having in yeshiva, and what could help make those experiences better.

What mechanchim are saying

Leaders in the Lubavitch community who have seen my work up close.

Having worked closely with Aryeh at Tomchei Temimim Ocean Parkway for close to a decade now, I've had countless conversations with him. In addition to our official work together on the yeshiva's Mishnayos, Gemara, and Halacha curricula, we've also had many other discussions, ranging from abstract concepts in Chassidus to effective negotiation strategies.

In all of these alike, Aryeh's tremendous depth shines through, always adding valuable insight to the topic. Aryeh's core values of positivity, growth, and devotion to Hashem - coupled with his authentic friendship and deep care - make him a great coach who can help navigate any of life's journeys.

Shmuel Wagner

Noted Mechanech & Educational Consultant

I first got to know Aryeh when I started working at Tomchei Tmimim Ocean Parkway, and what stood out to me immediately was his clarity and focus.

Aryeh has a unique ability to cut through the noise and zero in on practical, actionable steps. His dedication and follow-through are equally impressive. Once he sets his sights on something, you can be confident it’s going to get done.

Menachem Lifshitz

Principal, Tomchei Temimim Ocean Parkway

Rabbi Aryeh Gurewitz brings an exceptional combination of vision, professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care to his work. Through his leadership as Curriculum Director at ULYOP, he has developed thoughtful and highly effective curriculum systems with embedded assessments that allow for meaningful and ongoing monitoring of student progress.

What stands out most is his ability to approach education holistically, collaborating closely with teachers, leadership, and special education teams to ensure that every student’s academic and emotional needs are understood and supported.

Every yeshiva needs a proper plan going through all the grades, but it’s not as easy as it sounds.

Every yeshiva needs a proper plan going through all the grades, but it’s not as easy as it sounds. Aryeh has done an excellent job figuring out how to make that happen in our yeshiva. For several years now, I’ve been teaching with the workbooks and tests he and his team created, and the boys have benefited tremendously.

Moshe Reinetz

33 years of teaching experience

Aryeh's coaching program has had a meaningful impact on many areas of my life. It also helped me expand my Shlichus in ways I didn't think were possible. What I found most unique is that his foundational ideas are rooted entirely in the teachings of Chassidus, a field he understands with real depth and clarity.

The group sessions were exceptionally powerful as he masterfully created a safe space that allows for genuine acceptance along with profound empowerment for growth.

Rabbi Levi Ginsberg

Founder, Neiros Lehuir

Aryeh Gurewitz is so much more than a “success coach.” He's a true friend who cares and is wholeheartedly invested in your success - and that support never wavers, even after you complete the sessions. I'm most impressed with his unassuming and non-judgmental demeanor, coupled with his tried and tested wisdom and insight, and it has changed me for the better, personally and professionally. Working with him has been nothing short of an absolute joy. I highly recommend you contact Aryeh; you won't regret it.

Additionally, due to our shared passion for chinuch, I’ve also had the opportunity to speak with Aryeh about his insights on curriculum and student progress. I firmly believe that any yeshiva that implements his approach to these topics will be providing a great service to its students.

Consulting

How I can help

My consulting work focuses on three core areas:

Curriculum Design

Building and refining curriculum that is Torah-true, developmentally appropriate, and actually engaging for students. Curriculum that produces real learning — not just covering ground.

Student Progress Systems

Designing and implementing systems to track, support, and improve student progress. Making sure no student falls through the cracks and every student has a clear path forward.

Organizational Structure

Helping schools and yeshivos examine how they are organized, how decisions are made, and where the friction is — and then building structures that allow the institution to operate at its potential.
